Changes Underway!

Website update underway!! Of course with my hectic schedule it may take a while, but it *is* in the works. Pinky swear! =) Here's a peek at my old one...



Alrighty roo - I've been tagged by Renee to list 8 interesting things about me. Not sure these qualify as interesting, but here goes!

1) I'm an award-winning pianist. The awards were from when I was younger, but I can still count them, right? Honestly, I think I played better technically when I was about 10, but now I've got soul, sister! LOL!

2) I'm proud to say that I have saved a life, many times. =)

3) My hair is naturally curly but you'll rarely ever see it that way.

4) I have an insane phobia of spiders. Seriously.

5) I secretly worry that I'm a terrible mother and I'm going to scar my children for life.

Okay... I'm not sure any of these are qualifying as interesting, LOL! But I'm plugging on...

6) I've never met some of my bestest buds in person. They live in my computer. ;)

7) Eric & I have acquired a 4th child, Nate... we live from day to day without knowing if or when he's gonna leave us. We're growing quite attached. LONG STORY. And big, big, SUPER thank you to Jenny Ress. YOU ROCK!

8) I'm addicted to lip balm. Specifically Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Rhubarb or Fig. I'm thinking that people I work with get sick & tired of watching me apply it. ALL DAY LONG.

I've gotten to photograph a few newborns recently - not that I'm complaining! =) I'm just not used to them. Isn't he a CUTIE?! I wish they could stay like this forever.... *sigh*

Extortion by Extraction?

I just realized that I haven't blogged about the newest addition to our family - that's definitely a whole 'nother story for a whole 'nother post! Anyway, meet Nathan - "Nate" - he's 9 years old & has been with us for 2 weeks now. He's super fun to have around, but is eating us out of house & home!!! I'm amazed at how much a 9 year old growing boy can eat! =)

So... I come home from work yesterday & Vickie, my mother-in-law, informs me that the boys have devised an evil plan to get some extra money.... Extortion by Extraction. Yes, you heard that right. Each took a turn pulling a tooth from the other! Where in the heck do kids come up with this stuff???



On the flip side, she did say that they had been fighting all day EXCEPT for the last hour while they worked on their teeth, HAHA!!! =) Here we go - pardon the snapshots ;) By the looks on their faces, they endured lots of pain & suffering...




Totally unrelated, but little brother was getting jealous of all the attention the big boys were gettin'!

that it's August. YES, I went to New Orleans/Cozumel/Costa Maya in June. YES, I posted like 1 picture, HAHA! ;) I really did forget to post more after I'd gone through a bit. I went a little bonkers with bw, but I'm finding I really, really like it lately. =)









I loved all the clocks - I really like this "old-timey" black & white (does anyone say that if you don't live in the south?)
